After leaving Warm Springs on Nevada 375 you cross a fairly wide basin before passing through one of several low ranges that cut across the larger Tonapah Basin.
This pass is located just northeast of a bluff labeled on Google Earth as Twin Springs.
Here, there is an unnamed Lake/Reservoir that is fed by the labeled Twin Springs Slough.
Although Twin Springs Lake/Reservoir is always a welcom sight, it changes considerably each year depending on the level of water.
In 2018, there were many ducks enjoying the water... in 2019, a good deal of the lake was dry... in 2025, it looked more normal.
Ranchers have taken advantage of the water source by placing a wooden corral below it to the east.
